Anglers proud to show off the ones that didn't get away
Several keen anglers headed up to Robinvale over the final weekend of March to take part a fishing competition on the Murray River.

While the weather was hot, the catches were hotter, with plenty of cod caught using lures and bait.
Alastair Vanstan from Wimmera Fish Hunters caught his fair share of Murray Cod using size two stump jumpers.

Meanwhile, Native Temptation Baits' Thomas Paterson landed a monster Murray Cod closer to home.
While fishing at Taylor's Lake on March 29, he pulled in a 101cm lunker estimated to weigh between 25-30kg.
"It was an absolute fish of a lifetime and will never be forgotten," Paterson said.
The one metre monster was caught on yabbies.
