Eagles look to next round after Burras loss
It was a challenging game for the Eagles at home on Saturday, losing to Minyip Murtoa in A Grade netball by 11 goals.

Despite the Eagles holding a higher ladder position, the Burras got the better start to the game and maintained a couple of goals' advantage after the first quarter.
That lead was extended to eight at half-time and remained the same heading into the final quarter.
As the match started for Minyup Murtoa, they finished it as the stronger team, extending the lead by a few more goals to win 39 - 50.
For the home side, Emma Koschitzke and Maddie Okely were great, playing in Centre/Wing Attack and Goal Defence/Wing Defence, respectively.
Isabelloa Orszulak did the bulk of the scoring for the Eagles, with 19, while Briodi McKenzie contributed seven and Lauren Clyne 13.
Claudia Griffiths (Centre) and Lauren Dodgshun (Goal Keeper) led the way for Minyip Murtoa, with their scoring shared between Jenna Schneider (26) and Jessica Newell (24).
This Saturday, Sarah Spicer's side will line up against the ladder leaders, the Horsham Saints.
Last time the Eagles and Saints played, the difference was 28 goals, with the Horsham side banking the win.
Spicer said having that first look at their opposition earlier in the season should assist them this Saturday.
"I definitely think we have improved since the start of the season, but won't be dwelling on the first result at all," she said.
"They play a fast, slick brand of netball and they have a great focus point in Jorja (Clode) so we will need to try to slow them."
While the Eagles have often relied on the likes of Briodi McKenzie, Emma Koschitzke, Jess Kelly and Maddie Okely this season, Spicer said she is looking to the youngsters in the back half of the season.
"We'll be looking for our younger players to step up in round two to help us improve even more on our results," the coach concluded.
