Gardam wins first round of championships

In the first round of Brim Golf Club's championships, it was Rod Gardam who took the honours with a great consistent round and also claimed the day’s net stroke event from Col Appledore.

The only golfer to get a nearest the pin was Rod Gardam on the O’Connor 2/11 hole.

Rod did stray off the fairway sometimes with his massive slices, which ran into the rough sometimes.
