Run the Beal returns this weekend
Almost 100 runners are expected to take part in this year’s Run the Beal fun run on Sunday, October 25.

Event spokesperson Ellie Priest said anticipation was building ahead of the picturesque trail run.
“Entries are looking really strong,” she said.
“We’re excited for this year’s event because, for the first time, we’re offering prize money for the winner of the 21km and 10km races.”
Ms Priest said the fun run cannot happen without a whole community effort.
“Thanks to the local Apex and Rotary groups, plus numerous community members, for offering their support,” she said.
“We’ve also got a morning barbecue, coffee van, and a couple of local therapists offering warm-up and cool-down massages to the competitors.”
The first 21km run starts at 8am, with the 10km starting at 9.30am.
The 5km fun run begins at 9am, and the kids' run rounds off the races from 10.30am.
Entries will remain open until 7am on October 25.
