School holiday activity in Hopetoun
Yarriambaick Libraries once again ran their school holiday activities over January.

We are very lucky to have been selected to partner with the National Gallery of Victoria for their NGV Kids on Tour program.
Last Thursday at Hopetoun & District Neighbourhood House, we looked at nature inspired by artist Olaf Breuning.
We read his book ‘My Nature’ and went on to create some wonderful pieces of nature-inspired artwork.
We had 9 people in attendance, including locals and visitors to Hopetoun.
To avoid the overbearing heat, everyone stayed on well into the afternoon. We made origami hearts, cranes, and boxes.
The library returns to Neighbourhood House again on January 22 for NGV’s ‘Take the Cake’ activities.
We’ll be packing plenty of sprinkles and glitter, decorating cupcakes and party hats, and playing party games.
