Tennis-loving Thompsons team up
The family that plays together stays together ... at least that's the case for the Thompsons.

On Saturday, daughters Ella (18), Paige (18) and Tahlia (20) all played with their mum, Maree, in Horsham Lawn's pennant team: a family first and possibly even a first for the grade.
And although not in the same team, Brett Thompson, Maree's husband and Ella, Paige and Tahlia's father, played with Dylan, his son with Maree and brother to the girls, for Horsham Lawn in A special.
Maree and Paige usually play for this side but couldn't pass up the opportunity to play alongside Ella and Tahlia.
Both Brett and Maree are life members of the tennis club, with Brett having been president off and on for about 15 years.
And it was the family's obsession with all things sport that drew them into playing tennis, with footy and netball occupying the winter and another sport having been needed alongside cricket to fill their summers.
With the entire family able to get involved in tennis, the appreciation for the opportunity isn't lost on the family – and neither is the competitiveness.
"There's definitely a bit of competitiveness there," dad Brett laughed.
"But it keeps things interesting."
